Creating Asynchronous Courses Keynote & Virtual Workshop

As I mentioned in Scottsdale, your program was “on target’ and met both DLA and participant expectations. Your ability to quickly engage the group in a meaningful learning experience was outstanding. It established a relationship that fostered the high level of interaction that was a desired outcome of the session. Also, you provided much information that they will be able to use personally in their respective communities; another desired outcome. Thanks for your professionalism and an outstanding workshop.

Creating Asynchronous Virtual Courses: 3 Key Questions

The creation of asynchronous virtual courses can be one of the most efficient and effective means of delivering learning content to a diverse array of employees. There are great benefits to both synchronous and asynchronous virtual learning, but the question remains: is asynchronous virtual content a viable solution for your learning and development needs? The primary purpose of this session is to provide a specific framework that you can use to answer this question. To do this, we will discuss 3 simple questions that organizations should consider before committing to the design, development, implementation and assessment of an asynchronous eLearning course. Specifically, because of this interactive session, you will be able to:
  • Describe 3 key questions you can use to determine if asynchronous virtual content is a good fit for your organization.
  • Describe 4 types of eLearning courses: the Full Course, the Short Course, the Mini-Course and the Microlearning Course.
  • Use specific criteria to determine which of the asynchronous courses will work best for a particular learning objective.

Audience: Instructional designers, trainers, performance experts, subject matter experts and HRD leaders

Format: 60-75-minute interactive keynote presentation OR virtual workshop
